PIPO, Inc. is located within a 213,000 square foot facility in Norwalk, Ohio, occupying approximately 100,000 square feet. The remaining square footage is dedicated to our sister company MIM, a plastic injection molding business.  With the purchase of this facility in 2006 we were able to consolidate our raw material processing and injection molding into one facility.  This neighboring proximity of the companies has enabled us to implement efficiencies in time and costs.  Approximately 60% of the staff is cross trained to perform job functions for both companies.  This cross functional quality promotes the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. 

The management team brings over 35 years of plastics manufacturing experience to the table.

As off October 1, 2007, we employ 32 associates at PIPO and 26 associates at MIM. 

 

Presently PIPO Inc. recycles 59,000 pounds a day which translates to 885 tons per month of plastic being diverted from the wastes stream. 

It’s PIPO Inc.’s intention to help the local industries understand how important it is to Recycle. With our guidance we anticipate on helping local companies set up internal recycling programs. PIPO Inc. is already engaged with two local companies who bring Grade School children to their plants for tours and lessons on recycling. PIPO Inc. supplies the different types of plastics and products made from recycled materials for their educational purpose.   Although some materials are custom blended for customers and the formulations are proprietary; PIPO Inc. would not hesitate to assist other companies with their recycling programs. Public awareness of recycling needs to be much stronger in our region of Northern Ohio and across the State.
